What tape is good for outdoors?
Permanent Gorilla Tape All Weather is an ideal solution for outdoor repairs. Made with incredibly strong, permanent, butyl adhesive and a weather resistant shell, this tape withstands even extreme weather conditions.
Once opened there is no standard time, it will be dependent on storage conditions and age of the product, up to 9/12 months is a good guideline.

What is water tape called?

Sellotape is a generic term used for similar tapes of sticky tape or adhesive cello tape. It is a general purpose clear tape with many uses in home, office or industry. Scotch Tape is a 3M brand product name and is identical to Sellotape.
And what inspired the Scotch name? The Scots did not invent Scotch tape. But their reputation for thriftiness did inspire the name of this amazing product. Flex Tape is Better on Wet Surfaces
If you need to apply tape to a wet surface, you're going to want to go with Flex Tape. Gorilla Tape is waterproof, but it won't stick as well to a surface that's wet. Flex Tape will. This will especially come in handy in some repair situations.

Gorilla Mounting Tape is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage. If tape must be removed, the mounted object must be removed first. This may best be achieved by prying from one corner. Next, mounting tape can be removed by slowly stretching the tape parallel to the surface.
